Clxzm — Privacy Policy

Clxzm is designed to keep your puzzle progress, private frame textures, and solution records on your device. This policy explains what the current app handles, why it handles it, and what choices you have.

Effective August 12, 2026 English version Contact: support@clxzm.app

1. Privacy at a glance

This Privacy Policy applies to the Clxzm iOS app and is maintained by the developer or operator of Clxzm (“Clxzm,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). Clxzm is a local-first puzzle and creative tool.

No accountNo sign-up profileClxzm does not ask you to create an account or provide a name, phone number, or email address to use the app.
On deviceLocal app dataProgress, private textures, notes, snapshots, and coin records are stored in the app container on your device.
No SDKNo ads or analyticsThe current build does not include an advertising or analytics SDK and does not sell personal data.
Optional toolsPermission by choiceCamera, Photos, and microphone access are requested only when you choose the related feature.
Clxzm does not use background recording, local-network discovery, cloud sync, or a social sharing service in the current build.

2. Data handled by Clxzm

Data created or chosen in the app

Clxzm stores the information needed to provide its features, including puzzle progress, completed runs, move counts, durations, mode results, achievements, daily-attempt state, recovery state, private frame names and textures, solution snapshots, and notes that you choose to add.

Coin and purchase records

When you purchase a consumable Coin pack, Apple’s StoreKit provides the product and transaction information needed to complete delivery. Clxzm stores the delivered Coin balance, product identifier, transaction identifier, Coin amount, and processing time on the device to prevent duplicate delivery and to show purchase history. Clxzm does not receive or store your payment card number, bank details, or Apple Account password.

Support messages

Clxzm does not collect your email address inside the app. If you email support@clxzm.app, we and our email provider will receive the address, message, and any information you choose to include so that we can respond and handle the request.

3. Camera, Photos, and microphone

Camera

Camera access is requested only after you choose “Use Camera” in Frame Workshop. A capture is processed into a private frame texture and saved inside the app container. It is not uploaded by the current build and is not added to Photos automatically.

Photos

When you choose a source image, Clxzm uses the system picker so you can select an item without giving the app broad library browsing access. When you choose to save a solution snapshot to Photos, Clxzm requests add-only permission and writes the copy you requested. Photos then manages that copy under Apple’s system behavior.

Microphone

Optional Echo Laboratory microphone mode reads live microphone samples on the device and derives a temporary loudness value for a visual pulse. The current build does not create, record, save, upload, or transcribe an audio file. Input stops when you leave the page or the app is interrupted.

4. Apple services and the launch check

Clxzm uses Apple system services for in-app purchases, camera and microphone permission prompts, Photos access, and the iOS App Tracking Transparency authorization status. Apple may process information under Apple’s own terms and privacy policy.

At launch, the current app performs a lightweight HTTP HEAD reachability request to https://www.apple.com. This request is used to complete the app’s launch check. Clxzm does not attach your User Content, puzzle records, Coin balance, or support messages to that request. Apple or network infrastructure may still process ordinary connection information, such as an IP address, under its own policies.

The current build contains no advertising or analytics SDK. The system may still show an App Tracking Transparency prompt because the launch flow requests the system authorization status. Granting that authorization does not cause this current build to add an advertising or analytics SDK.

5. Sharing and disclosure

Clxzm does not sell, rent, or share your local app data for advertising. It does not upload your photos, textures, notes, microphone input, puzzle records, or snapshots to a Clxzm server in the current build.

Information may be handled by the following parties only as needed for the selected action:

  • Apple and StoreKit: product pricing, purchase authorization, transaction processing, and purchase delivery.
  • Apple system services: the permissions and Photos actions you initiate, plus the launch reachability connection described above.
  • Your email provider: if you voluntarily contact support, the provider processes the email message and its delivery metadata.

We may disclose information if required by law, legal process, or a valid request from a public authority, or when reasonably necessary to protect the security, rights, or safety of Clxzm, users, or others.

6. Retention and deletion

Local app data remains on your device until you delete it, reset the relevant feature, uninstall Clxzm, or the operating system removes the app data. Clxzm does not maintain a cloud account from which it can remotely delete your local records.

  • Private frames and solution snapshots moved to the in-app Recycle Bin can be restored for 30 days. After that period, they and their local image files are permanently removed by the app.
  • You can reset puzzle progress from Settings. This removes progress and run history; the app’s current flow moves solution snapshots to the Recycle Bin and does not affect your Coin balance or Apple purchase records.
  • A copy saved to Photos is outside the app container. Delete that copy from Photos using Apple’s Photos controls.
  • Apple retains purchase and account records under Apple’s policies and applicable law. Clxzm cannot delete Apple Account or App Store records.

If you contact us about deletion or privacy, email support@clxzm.app. Because the current app has no server account, we can explain device-level deletion steps but cannot remotely erase data that exists only on your device or in Apple’s services.

7. Your choices

You can deny or later revoke Camera, Microphone, Photos, or Tracking permissions in iOS Settings. The related optional feature may then be unavailable, while other parts of Clxzm remain usable where possible.

You choose whether to import or capture a photo, whether to use microphone mode, whether to save a solution copy to Photos, what notes to enter, and whether to contact support. You can stop using the app and delete it at any time.

8. Security and children’s privacy

Clxzm uses reasonable on-device storage and system permission controls for the information it handles. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee security against every threat or device failure.

Clxzm does not knowingly request an account, collect a child’s contact details, or build a profile about children. If you believe a child has sent personal information to support, contact us at support@clxzm.app so we can review the request.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when Clxzm’s features, data practices, Apple services, or legal requirements change. The “Effective” date above will be updated with each revised version. If a change is material, we will provide notice through a reasonable in-app or distribution-channel method where required.
